Miesha LM Rodriguez, Esq.
A graduate of Pace University’s School of Law in White Plains, New York, Ms. Rodriguez has been practicing law for over 15 years. Ms. Rodriguez began her legal career as an associate attorney assisting one of the locally appointed Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees in liquidating the assets of individual and business debtors. Ms. Rodriguez also worked as an associate in several Westchester law firms representing various clients in real estate, bankruptcy, debt collection, contracts, and other business law matters, as well as tort and matrimonial matters. Her representation included litigation in the Supreme and lower civil courts of New York State and the Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York, as well as representation of credit unions, investment companies and other lenders at mortgage closing transactions. Most recently, prior to establishing her solo practice, Ms. Rodriguez served almost 5 years of her career as Associate General Counsel to the United Nations Federal Credit Union, assisting with all legal business matters of the credit union. During that time, Ms. Rodriguez was certified by the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) as a Certified Compliance Officer, evidencing her strong knowledge of the federal regulations that affect credit unions and other financial institutions. Mrs. Rodriguez is admitted to the New York state courts, the Federal courts of the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Connecticut state courts. Mrs. Rodriguez is also the founder of the Minority Empowerment Business Networking Association (MEBNA), established in the Hudson Valley to help minority entreprenuers and other business professionals to increase thier opportunities for success through education, marketing, mentoring, networking, and support.
